THE POETICS OF THE DAMA VERMELHA COLLECTIVE: TRAJECTORIES, DISOBEDIENCE AND RESISTANCE IN CARIRI/CE
Group theater; Invasion theater; Performative; Intervention; Logbook.
This text walks through artistic practice based on a trajectory and experiences that focus on a discussion in/about Group Theater and Creation Processes with an emphasis on the expanded scene, invasion theater and access to theatrical dissemination space. It stands out for its immersion in popular culture and involvement with various artistic expressions: dance, theater and performance. Upon entering the Regional University of Cariri, I came across the region's effervescent theater scene, particularly fascinated by the Coletivo Dama Vermelha, of which I have been part since 2016. In this context, the research in question proposes an analysis of the creative processes and trajectory of the aforementioned collective, focusing on its first decade of activity. Using an ethnographic approach, I explore the strategies adopted by the group to face challenges and consolidate their presence in the Caríba theater scene. Furthermore, the study seeks to integrate relevant theoretical reflections, promoting a critical dialogue with the observed practices. Being able to contribute to the enrichment of the local theatrical field.
